# Map Cards

> Geographic revenue breakdowns by territory

Map cards plot a single metric across countries, using color intensity to indicate value. Higher values appear brighter.

  <Step title="Add a Map card">
    In Edit mode, add a **Map** card to the view.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select a metric">
    In the card's Properties panel, choose the metric to visualize (e.g. **Licensor Revenue**). Map cards always group by territory, so no dimension selection is needed.

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save** to persist the view.

<Note>
  Map cards support exactly one metric. Switching to a map card type will automatically set the dimension to territory and keep your first configured metric.

Hovering over a country on the map shows a tooltip with the territory name and formatted metric value.
