# Sorts

> Sort statement files by different fields

## Sort Options

Use the **Sort** control in the Files toolbar to change the order of statements. You can sort by statement metadata or by revenue.

### Sort Fields

| Field                 | Description                                 |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| **ID**                | Statement ID (upload order)                 |
| **File Name**         | Alphabetically by file name                 |
| **Created Date**      | When the statement was uploaded             |
| **Accounting Period** | Period covered by the statement             |
| **Revenue Total**     | Total revenue in the statement              |
| **Revenue Matched**   | Amount of revenue matched to catalog assets |

### Sort Direction

Each field can be sorted **ascending** (A–Z, oldest first, lowest first) or **descending** (Z–A, newest first, highest first).

**Default:** ID, descending (newest uploads first).

## Changing Sort

1. Go to **Statements** → **Files**
2. Click the **Sort** control in the toolbar
3. Choose the sort field and direction

The sort indicator shows when a non-default sort is active.
