What is the Inbox?

The Inbox centralizes all messages and notifications for your project. Stay on top of important updates, collaborate with team members, and track conversations about specific contracts or entities.

Inbox Navigation

Access the Inbox through:
  • DashboardInbox tab
  • Messages in the main navigation

Message Types

Internal Messages

Thread DiscussionsConversations about specific items
@MentionsWhen you’re mentioned in a message

System Notifications

Message List

The inbox list shows:

Filtering Messages

Filter by:
  • Status: All, unread, flagged
  • Type: Messages, notifications
  • Related To: Specific item type
  • Date Range: Time period

Reading Messages

Open Message

Click on a message to open it.

View Thread

See the full conversation thread.

View Context

Click links to related items (contracts, entities).

Reply

Respond directly in the thread.

Composing Messages

New Message

Click Compose

Click New Message in the inbox.

Select Recipients

Choose team members to receive the message.

Add Subject

Write a clear subject line.

Link Items

Optionally link to contracts, entities, or statements.

Write Message

Compose your message with rich text formatting.

Send

Click send to deliver the message.

Reply to Message

Open Thread

Open the message thread.

Write Reply

Type your response in the reply box.

Add Attachments

Optionally attach files.

Send

Send the reply.

Message Features

Rich Text Editor

Format messages with:
  • Bold, italic, strikethrough
  • Bulleted and numbered lists
  • Code blocks
  • Links

Attachments

Attach files to messages:
  • Documents
  • Images
  • Spreadsheets

@Mentions

Mention team members:
  • Type @ followed by their name
  • They’ll receive a notification
Link to platform items:
  • Contracts
  • Entities
  • Statements
  • Recordings/Compositions

Managing Messages

Mark as Read/Unread

  • Click the circle icon to toggle read status
  • Select multiple to mark in bulk

Archive

Archive resolved threads:
  • Click archive icon
  • Access archived in Archive view

Flag/Star

Mark important messages:
  • Click star icon
  • Filter by flagged to see important items

Delete

Remove unwanted messages:
  • Click delete icon
  • Deleted messages move to trash

Notifications Settings

Configure how you receive notifications:

Navigate to SettingsNotifications.

Set email notification preferences.

Configure In-App

Set in-app notification preferences.

Set Frequency

Choose immediate, daily digest, or weekly.

Review inbox regularly to stay on top of important updates.
