Create Your Account
Get started with Royaltyport by creating your account and setting up your organization.1
Sign Up
Visit app.royaltyport.com and create your account using your email address. Note, currently Royaltyport is invite only. You’ll receive a verification email to confirm your account.

Complete Onboarding
After signing in, you’ll be guided through a brief onboarding process where you’ll:
- Set up your profile name
- Define your role (Artist, Manager, Label, Publisher, etc.)

Create Your Organization
Organizations are the top-level structure for your company or team:
- Enter your organization name
- This will contain all your projects and team members

Create Your First Project
Projects are workspaces where you manage contracts, catalog, and statements:
- Choose a project name (e.g., “Artist Name Catalog”)
- Select the primary entity (your company or artist)
- Invite team members (optional)
Understanding the Hierarchy
- Organization = Your company/team (contains members and projects)
- Projects = Individual workspaces (contain contracts, catalog, statements)
Upload Your First Contract
Once your project is set up, start uploading contracts in the Contracts module.1
Open Your Project
Click on your project from the organization home.

Navigate to Contracts
Click on Contracts in the project menu, then select Drive.

Upload Contracts
Click the Upload button and select your contract files (PDF, DOCX, or images). You can upload multiple files at once.

AI Extraction
Royaltyport’s AI will automatically analyze your contracts and extract key terms including:
- Contract type and parties
- Dates and durations
- Royalty rates and splits
- Territory and rights information
- Recordings and compositions covered

Review and Verify
Review the extracted information and make any necessary corrections. The AI learns from your feedback to improve future extractions.
Process Your First Statement
Upload and process royalty statements to track your earnings.1
Navigate to Statements
Click on Statements in project menu, then select Files.

Upload Statements
Upload your royalty statements in supported formats (Excel, CSV, PDF). The system accepts statements from major distributors and DSPs.

Automatic Processing
The AI will:
- Parse and categorize your statement data
- Match assets to your catalog
- Link earnings to relevant contracts
- Identify any discrepancies or issues

Navigate to Insights to see analytics and visualizations of your royalty data.
