What You’ll See
Group Membership
A contract can belong to multiple IP groups. For example, an Exclusive Recording Agreement (ERA) might appear in several groups - one for each track where collaborators have their own agreements. Each group entry shows:- The group name and type
- This contract’s role (IP origin, sibling, or downstream license)
- Other contracts in the same group
- Revenue allocations specific to this group
Relationships
Within each group, you’ll see:| Section | Shows |
|---|---|
| IP Origin | Agreements from which this contract derives rights |
| Siblings | Other contracts covering the same IP or referencing this one |
| Downstream Licenses | Contracts that sublicense from this IP group |
Allocations
For sibling groups, the allocation section shows how revenue flows for assets shared within this group, including this contract’s participation rate and whether it uses its own rules or inherits from another contract.Navigating IP Groups
