What is the Dataroom?
The Dataroom lets you build fully customizable analytics dashboards on top of your processed statement data. Arrange charts, tables, and maps in a canvas of views — then share those views with your team. Open the Dataroom from Statements → Dataroom in the project sidebar.Views
A view is a saved dashboard layout. Each view has a name, a data source (e.g. Recordings or Compositions), and a grid of cards.Managing views
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Switch view | Click the view name in the tab bar |
| Create view | Click + New View |
| Duplicate view | Open the view menu (⋮) → Duplicate |
| Edit view | Open the view menu (⋮) → Edit (owner only) |
| Delete view | Open the view menu (⋮) → Delete (owner only) |
Public and private views
By default, a new view is private — only you can see it. Private views show a Private badge in the tab bar. To share a view with all project members, open the view menu (⋮) → Make Public. Public views are visible to everyone in the project. To revert, select Make Private.Only the view owner can change its visibility.
Default view
You can pin one view per data source as the default. The default view loads automatically when you open the Dataroom and is marked with a pin icon in the tab bar. To set a default, open the view menu (⋮) → Make Default. Only the view owner can change the default.View ordering
Views are sorted: default first, then public views, then private views.Cards
Each view is made up of cards arranged in a grid. Cards pull data from your statement data source and render it as a chart, table, or map.Adding and editing cards
In Edit mode (click Edit in the toolbar), you can:- Add cards — drag a card type from the sidebar into the grid
- Resize cards — drag the card border
- Reorder cards — drag the grip handle in the card header
- Edit a card — click the pencil icon on the card
Card types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Area Chart | Revenue or volume trend over time, filled area |
| Bar Chart | Grouped or stacked comparisons |
| Line Chart | Trend lines over time |
| Pie Chart | Proportional breakdown |
| Table | Paginated data grid with dimensions and metrics |
| Map | Geographic breakdown by territory |
Card footer
Every card shows a two-column footer:- Left — the card’s Footnote text, if one is configured (e.g. “Breakdown by accounting period”).
- Right — compact indicators showing the configured metrics and dimensions. Hover each to see the full list with aggregation methods and dimension types.
Card properties
When editing a card, the properties panel is organized as follows:| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Optional label shown in the card header |
| Chart Display | Chart type selector and variant (e.g. stacked) — charts only |
| Max height | Controls how tall the card renders (200 px – 1200 px, default 400 px) |
| Axes / Dimensions / Metrics | Fields that define what data the card shows |
| Footnote | A single line of text shown in the bottom-left of the card footer |
Max height
All card types support a Max height setting (200 px – 1200 px, default 400 px). Set this in the card’s properties panel to control how tall the card renders in the grid.Chart cards
Charts (area, bar, line, pie) let you pick one or more metrics and a dimension to group by. Bar and line charts support a chart role per metric (primary axis vs. secondary axis). The Chart Display section in the properties panel lets you select the chart type and, where applicable, a Variant (e.g. stacked for bar and area charts). Both options are grouped in one place.Table cards
Table cards render a paginated, scrollable grid with optional totals row.Pinned columns
You can fix up to two columns in place while the rest of the table scrolls horizontally:- Pin left — sticks the selected column to the left edge
- Pin right — sticks the selected column to the right edge
Map cards
Map cards plot a single metric across countries, using color intensity to indicate value. Higher values appear brighter.Select a metric
In the card’s Properties panel, choose the metric to visualize (e.g. Licensor Revenue). Map cards always group by territory, so no dimension selection is needed.
Map cards support exactly one metric. Switching to a map card type will automatically set the dimension to territory and keep your first configured metric.
