Overview

Filters help you narrow down your contract list to find exactly what you need. Combine the status filter with field-specific filters to quickly locate contracts.

The primary filter lets you filter by processing status:

Custom Fields

If you have custom extractors configured, their output fields appear as filterable options. Each extractor field becomes a separate filter.

How Filtering Works

Unlike traditional filters with operators (contains, equals, greater than), the filter system uses value selection:
  1. When you add a filter, the system queries your contracts to find all unique values for that field
  2. You select a specific value from a dropdown
  3. Only contracts matching that exact value are shown
Filter options are dynamically populated based on your actual contract data. If a field has no values across your contracts, it won’t show any options.

Multiple Filters

When you add multiple filters, they combine with AND logic:
  • Type is “Recording Agreement” AND
  • Language is “English” AND
  • Tags is “Priority”
All conditions must be true for a contract to appear.

Managing Filters

Filter Count Badge

The Filter button shows active filter count:
  • Filter (0) - No active filters
  • Filter (3) - Three active filters applied (including status if not “All”)

Removing Filters

  • Click X on an individual filter to remove it
  • Click Clear to remove all filters at once
  • Select “All” in any dropdown to disable that filter without removing it

Best Practices

Start with the status filter to focus on completed contracts before adding field filters.
Create tags for categories you filter often, like “Priority” or “Under Review”.
If you’re having trouble finding contracts, check the filter count - you may have filters applied.
Flattened fields let you filter by specific royalty types, cost categories, or control areas.
